  1. Nice job guys - You're making me more and more excited about Blender! And I must confess - I wasn't exactly fan of that soft ;)

  2. queeeeee!!!
tan pronto; y yo que tengo que dejar de usar el Blender por un mes TT^TT
(igual y me lo bajo sin que nadie se de cuenta XD)
    saludos...

  3. How do you make etch a ton work so it places bones in side model at correct depth asi in octopus demo? My bones seem to appear out side the model I am tracing.

  4. Projection painting is a treat :) . But there are serious bugs, it works fairly well, but it fills in seams with the color that you're painting with... Can't wait till this gets fixed. Sketch-A-Ton works very well... Can't wait to play with the BGE improvements. Thanks to the Blender Devs, again I can't wait till they release the stable version.

  5. it seems like developers have taken the time to optimize blender better for intel macs. the ui is still somewhat laggy, but blender used to crash randomly or especially during particle effect tests. now i can finally comb hair and it doesn't seem to want to crash. of course this is only after about 10 minutes of testing. but, i can tell some work has gone into this area. thank you guys so much for your hard work.

  6. Nice one, I'll be testing for my usual RC bugs, see if they make a re-apperance in this build.

If you spot something that's possibly a bug then you should submit the bug to the Blender team following the fab guide linked to below.

    http://www.blendernation.com/2008/02/28/bug-reports/

I've done a couple and it's really quite something to see that you have spotted a bug properly and then some good soul then fixes it, you test it and it's one less bug for the others out there!!

  7. OMG! Projection texture painting is I.N.C.R.E.D.I.B.L.E. feature!

    ...
I downloaded the RC1, projection texture painting works, but the brush (when used with texture) is not centered to the position where the first paint click is made - instead it is tiled. Centered brush would make the tool more usable for a detail creation on models and objects (e.g. using brush texture to add pocket on the shirt texture of the model, or to place graffiti on the specific place on the brick wall). When the perspective is turned off, the brush is centered.

If you could tweak (add a button that uses centered brush) it would be great!
    Thank you blender devs!

  8. For texture painting: it would be great if you could draw 'brush line' (define two points, first and second click in the viewport, and fill the distance between them with selected brush, using low spacing distance).

  9. Desperately trying to download this RC1 for win32 but cannot get a decent download rate only (7k) at all from the server. Is there any mirrors available?
    Cheers
