  1. @mike pan: You are right. You'll have to check the licenses on each site/model.

  2. I always upload a .blend file for all my Makehuman animations. So, if you are looking for Makehuman talking heads in .blend file format, just look up zincChameleon on YouTube. Right now, I'm doing the Internet personality Lisa Nova. Websites are nice, but you get more exposure (40k hits!) on YouTube.

  3. Unless you're a professional, are downloading models really a good idea?
Modelling is one of the best skills a 3d artist can learn, so any practice is good practice. In my opinion, downloading models should be left to studios, where the cost of hiring a modeller, is less than the cost of buying a model outright.

But to the rest of us, taking shortcuts can be a sure fire way to stunt your learning and never get hired.

Just my 2 cents of course.

    What does everyone else think?

  4. Exactly!
Because when you show someone a render they always say, "WOW! Did you do all that?!?" I take great pride in saying everytime, "yes... yes I did." *pulls smug grin*
