Series of Open Source Events in March at Graz, Austria.

Hi blenderheads!

I am very happy to present a series of open source events in the media art lab "MedienKunstLabor" in Graz, Austria.

We are opening the murspace.net media portal and celebrate the free software and open content movement with some events, interesting people and a creative commons party.

So, if you are around - join us!!

Wednesday, 18.03.2009 (starting 7:00 pm):

Presentation of the Open Artist Linux Live Distribution.
Get a boot able DVD with a huge amount of tools for 2D, 3D, VJing and Sound editing!
Open Artist Linux has multiple Blender installations, a variety of renderers (Yaf(A)ray,Yafray, Aqsis, Pixie, Pantograph vector renderer, Kerkythea, Indigo, Sunflow and Luxrender) and tools.
All configured and ready to go (including online collaboration built in via dropbox)

Come to the Events or see it online.
Thursday, 19.03.2009 (starting 5:00 pm):

Come together, talk circle and creative commons party.

See & talk to people who work professionally with open source. Have fun, learn tools and exchange knowhow.

Workshop : How to edit video with open source.

Learn the basics of video editing with blender in 2 hours. limited places, so please register if you want to attend.

    Congratulations! Recently I struggled to install most of these applications by myself:) some of them were frustrating to get working properly:P since I am not yet at the master-geek level...
