New Release Schedule for BAM

Blender Art Magazine (BAM) are adjusting their release schedule.

As Blender art magazine enters its 4th year of publication, (yes it really has been that long), the time has come to adjust our release schedule. While the staff as well as the contributing artists and authors make every attempt to hit our release schedule, life does have a way of interfering. Especially when we are all volunteers.

It took three years to knock us completely off schedule, with our last issue being released almost three weeks late. So in order to get us back on schedule without affecting the quality of our magazine, we will start a new schedule beginning with issue #20.

We will still release every two months, but instead of releasing in the months of: Nov, Jan, Mar, May, July and Sept, we will now release in: Feb, Apr, June, Aug, Oct and Dec.

That should get us back on track (well at least for the next three years.)

So next submission deadline will be Feb 5th with mag release at the end of Feb.

    Nice, maybe I'll get a magazine for my birthday in April, lol. The fact that Sarah and other contributing members of the Blender community are continuing to make these digital magazines is astounding. And awesome ...

    @Anon : yes, BlenderArtists.org seems to have some troubles, but don't worry : They are like the Phoenix ! I'm sure that the site will be back soon. I wish them the best things for 2009 !

    Actually ibiblio (they host our site), had to shut every one's site down for a few days, one of the sites (not ours) has been exploited and caused a bunch of problems.

    We will be back up just as soon as they get it sorted out.
