The University of British Columbia Fisheries Centre is hosting a free, full-day Blender workshop on Sunday, the 24th of August in Vancouver, BC.Â The workshop will be lead by Mike Pan and Dalai Felinto, both of whom are working with the Fisheries Centre on the underwater visualization. (We reported earlier on their Fish Population Data Visualisation project with the Blender game engine).

The University of British Columbia Fisheries Centre is hosting a one day long Blender workshop On Sunday, 24th of August on campus that functions as a workshop and get-together for Blender users around Greater Vancouver.
At this point, we are thinking of targeting it towards intermediate users, but things can change.
This event will be held at the Fisheries Centre at UBC's Point Grey Campus.Â It can be easily access with numberous transit route(B-line 99, 84), paid parking is also available.
Cost and Logistics
The event will be free of charge.Â Due to the limited computers we have, attendees are welcomed to bring their own laptop computer for the event.Â Wifi connection will be available.
