Thx!!! =^-^=
Amazing stuff!!I 'll start following the tutorials right now
Wow! Already??
Check out apricot site!
This must be one of the best BlenderArt magazines I've seen. I've been peeking at the multi-layered SSS tests thread at Blenderartists.org for a while but have never had time to sit down and work through all of it and try it out, but now there's a nicely step-by-step formatted one in the mag! Same goes for the fire tut.
Well done guys, looks like a killer issue!
Awesome. Just in time to play with the 2.46 release. Thanks to all involved for making this issue possible.
Any mirrors? I can't get it to download.... :(
Sweet! This is a great edition to the series! And the wow factor is very well covered here! Thanks!
nevermind, it worked this time...
Really cool! But the WOW factor isn't in the technique...
Thanks blenderart people. :)
Charles: Actually, very rarely is the "WOW" in the technique or the tool/feature itself. The WOW is most often in the end result. And as with most things in life, most WOW effects can be accomplished in more than one way. This issue covers a few of the ways to accomplish some WOW results.
great mag thx.
Very nice mag!
Great job Sandra and every others! The community appreciates it alot :D
Thank you very much! Nice render on the front! Thanks for the hard work! God bless
-Much thanks for this issue-
I like.
lets download it fast
Proud to see my article in the mag... :) I hope you'll have fun reading it, as much as I've enjoyed writing it !
The others articles are great too. I'm out of date concerning the particles system, and seemingly the articles will help me to update myself... The fire tutorial is particularly... audacious. I hadn't thought that the main trick was done using composite nodes.
Thanks to all contributors for another great magazine!
I went through the multilayer sss article and got nice results. Congrats for such a fine article, Pixelvore, and thank you for writing it. It's amazing what's possible with material nodes, I really should dive more into it.
The other articles also look very promising. Wow, indeed. :)
I vote for a WOW! button next to the render button
Yeah, between the [Generate-a-fully-textured-and-rigged-character] button and the [Real-time-Global-Illumination] button, located in the {WOW} panel... :)
LOL, don't forget the "Make My Render Beautiful" button and the "Create an Amazing Short Like Pixar" buttons.
blenderart.org is one that WOW! things that can happen in my art life!
A Good read! Thanks
I'm really proud to have three of my articles in this wonderfull issue (Smoke using Billboard / Making waves / Fire using particles). Hope you'll like them.
Thank you too Sandra for your amazing work !!! That's the power of the open source community ! ;o)
Well. I guess each and every issue of BlenderArtMagazine has this build in WOW-factor.
Many thanks Sandra for this exceptional work!
