  1. They are some really awesome new features! I love the snap to face mode, which I've always wished for from many years ago!

    Awesome.

  2. Snap to face... I love it! Keep up the great work, guys! It's always fun and exciting to see what these projects bring to Blender.

  3. It's interesting to see that so many of the new Blender developments instigated by Apricot are so valuable even in non-game-engine projects. Things like face snapping are brilliant, but I'm always happy to see more subtle usability improvements like the direct library browsing, and the enhancement to baking.

Great stuff coders. Keep up the good work. We appreciate your efforts.

  4. wow, this is awesome!!!!

i hope these features will be incoperated in 2.50

also i really hope there wont be now like normal blender and a game blender version

i like how blender is one app with everything

    but yeah, definitly great work!

  5. Great work! face snap looks impressive... I hope it will be more precise than now about the "point to snap from"...
In the demo it looks easy but the user always uses the center point of the object to snap from.

  6. I was waiting and asking so long for good snapping tools in Blender. And now every new version brings more and better snapping features now. Snap to face will make a lot of work easier and faster!

  7. Great work, guys!

Aaaaand....the tute was done by none other than an Aussie! Woot!

Great stuff, Campbell! Doin' us proud!

  8. These tools are awesome, and I can't wait to try them out, but I can't find the Apricot branch binaries anywhere. A little help guys? I spent 30 minutes trying to find it, without luck.
