Zanno and the new Blender physics

17

Do you remember Zanno? He was on the Blender 2.36 splash screen. Pablo Vazquez (AKA VenomGFX), the creator of Zanno, just published a great video tutorial, applying the new Blender physics (Particles and Soft Body) to Zanno.

The video is available in Vimeo:

o.O Oh yes, I remember this angry looking carrot sitting on a plate. Zanno is his name, you say?

Brings back memories... Lol, it's interesting going back to the old versions, and realising just how much has changed since the latest version - even minor workflow things like Shift-F navigation around the view, or the buttons looked...

I didn't realize this little character survived!

  2. It was cool yet kinda pointless at the same time. Plus Zanno looks wierd with hair.

I didn't know you could style it though, that's pretty cool :) Plus the cube deflection works surprisingly well.

  3. Woot! Angry Carrot dude!

Those Blender features are awesome. So much easier to comb hair than use force bubbles.
