1. I have a lot of work at this moment, but if I findo some time I'll give it a try, I'm not good enough but this kind of challenge are so good to improve at the max you can at the time, the worst thing could happen is I get the las position, XD

Question...how detailed does one have to be usually in competitions like this? Is it strictly about interior/exterior design, or does one need to know things about the internal mechanics that makes a car run?

  3. I haven't read the article which is linked, but you can stop worrying about the mechanical details. Just the exterior and interior will be necessary.

Of course, you will need to provide enough space for the workings; and you'll have to include little things like gear-stick whatever. But remember, they're talking metropolis here so you can go all futuristic and have a tiny engine etc.

If you have a look at the entries from the last years, you can clearly see, that technical feasibility is barely a criterion for peugeot's selection process... Well, the winners were quite realistic. But in the top twentys there were a lot of crazy vehicles. Take this as an example.

  5. I don't know what kind of response competition No. 4 got from the Blender community, I wasn't keeping track at the time, but No. 3 was quite well subscribed.

That was the time when Blender was actually mentioned and recommended on the Peugeot site as one of the possible tools for the task. There was also an official Peugeot gallery put up of the Blender entries on Blender.org.

Should be interesting to see what we come up with this time. Furry Peugeots anyone?

  6. Wow, cool. Intriguing idea. A full-size model? Wow... too bad you can't hop in it and drive around! ;D
