I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.

  1. They don't need to port to a console.. Just compile the source.

..if you can't run your own code, that's your own stupid purchasing decision.

Don't buy an xbox360, period. The ps3 will be fine when they get opengl on the SPE's or get the RSX unlocked..
..and the Wii can't handle much at all. We will have to create a game-mode, or perhaps just use maximum swappiness to put the DE on a SD card while gaming..
