I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.

  1. Mhm,, sounds good, especially since we have holidays at the moment in Saxony...

Will it be possible to speak to Ton there, too? Because 25 minutes Ton is not that much...

  2. Blender's at one of the biggest movie's festival!!! Now that's amazing! It's one of the most well known festivals, you know - next to the ones that take place in Venice and Cannes! RESPECT!

  3. Yup.

"Zutritt nur auf Einladung" - Attendance is by invitation only

Nice to see Ton and Blender get the professional recognition!

  4. hmm.. i wonder if it be possible to get a little 'overview' of the event from ton as an interview or something afterwards. :)

  5. Wow, now I am impressed!

Congratulations, I think this is really a great chance to promote Blender and the whole Open Source idea.

    Good luck with the speech!
