Last week I visited the Blender Institute in Amsterdam, where I had a chance to talk to the members of the Peach team (and a member of Apricot as well!). I taped my conversations with them and for the next week, we'll publish one interview each day. Today part two: Nathan Vegdahl, Peach Lead Artist.

Nice Interview with Nathan. Peach will be fantastic.
For those who can't see this interview (including myself), download it here:

You need to be logged in though... *cough* http://www.bugmenot.com/view/www.vimeo.com *cough*
Hope that helps :)
I'm so cool!
Yes you are! :P
Thanks, I'll keep that in mind for rigging!
yeah you are great interview thanks.
When I went to the BI in December, Nathan was the most interesting guy to talk to. His rigs are awesome (it's interesting to hear that he isn't happy with them!) and he was very happy to talk me through them.
Can't wait to get my hands on those blends!
While I can download off both vimeo and google video they have problems. i.e. they don't like resuming which I need to do on my slower internet connection. googlevideo often times out causing restarts every few minutes and vimeo says file not found if you pause it for more than 4 minutes. Therefore I would recommend to upload it to blip.tv which offers both flash streaming and .flv download along with the original .mov file (or whatever you uploaded it in) without registration.
Not sure if people will keep checking the Ton interview, so this is a bit of a doublepost:
In short, I'm subtitling it and I cleaned up the sound considerably. http://dotsub.com/films/blendernationpeach
THIS video I'm really looking forward to watching but I want to try and finish subtitling Ton's first. There's so much awesome stuff he talks about that I didn't even know he was saying until I was forcing myself to subtitle it!!!
i thought it was pronounced dee dee wagons o_O
@Bmud:
I was working on a sub for that as well, but if you're doing one then I won't bother.
Nice interviews, both this one and the last one.
And by the way, I always think of it as de dwagonz, like the way Elmer Fudd would say "the dragons"...
@toastbusters Maybe just promise me that you'll proofread mine. There are words I don't know and names I don't know how to spell and usernames I'm not familiar with.
I'll look at it as soon as I see it posted. I'll agree that there's a lot of good info there that most people will miss, I'm just curious if the stunts reel thing was sarcasm or if he's serious.
Nice one Nathan. Great interview!
I find him funny even the dance he did what ever that was it was funny.
Nathan!!!!!!!!! The coolest guy I met at the conference! I mean Ton is the coolest guy, but Nathan nearly shares that place with Ton.
@cessen: and u know how to dance as well !
Why doesn't the video work?
Please use some service that works always.
Works fine here..
