  1. What do you mean with "It was nice knowing you, download.blender.org! :)" ???
Is that part of the website gone from now on??

I love the videos.. Thank you very much. Now I have something to watch when I actually have other things to do :P

Oh.. The videos that are up on blender.org right now is not the same as those before. These plays nicely on vlc :D

  2. @t3d: I was referring to the BlenderNation effect ;-) The download speed of that server has dropped from 900kb/s this afternoon to 14kb/s; I guess quite a few people are downloading those videos at this moment..

  3. These videos are spectacular in quality..

How can I get a good res video of 'Mancandy Rig Preview'? All the videos available are pictured from the screen.. I would like to have the one previewed in the conference..

  4. Never mind my previous statement it not missing, it just that the link on the videos page is mislabeled. It points to "http://download.blender.org/download.blender.org/documentation/bc2007/movies/D1_0tonkeynote.mov"
    and should be "http://download.blender.org/documentation/bc2007/movies/D1_0tonkeynote.mov"

  5. Hi - seems that in the proceedings there is no link to my presentation blend although iirc i provided it, will e-mail to note the organizers about that but in case anyone is interested it's at http://playsign.fi/presentation/bconf07playsign.blend

it features an experimental presentation script that works so that additional info of things ('power points') is showed of the selected objects, so you can right-click objects for more info.

  6. To throw in a related / unrelated question: In video 2, the Plumiferos presentation (excellent stuff by the way) the presenter is using a very cool mind mapping / flowchart program. Does anyone know which program is being used here, (I'm sure it's in Linux) because I think it would be a great program to use for story development and organising scenes in blender?

    Thanks Blenderheads!

  7. Hey Brian,

It's not Inkscape, but it looks like Freemind. But I have Freemind installed on my machine but it's not as smooth as the one in the Video.
