I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.

I so want to go
I will probably go, but i have one question: where to stay those 3 days?
Will i have to fix a hotel for myself? or are there any other options?
(maybe fixing something with a few other blender-interested-people?)

i would love to go buuuuuut...
i saw a movie once where a group of tenagers spent time in a hostel in amsterdam. it spooked me a little so im not going....
instead ill just watch it here in london, in my own chair
someone, please buy me a plane ticket there and back here again and ill smuggle myself in from there on :-))

It's Amsterdam for 3 days dude. Why sleep? Who needs their own bed? Hear what I'm saying? Party time... excellent.
OK, I can't make it this year, but I finally got it figured out how I can go in the future. I'm getting married that week this year, so some year in the future I'll take the wife on a nice anniversary trip to amsterdam that just *happens* to be the same weekend as the BC. Is that a sweet plan or what!
