Here's a nice lineup of most of the Blender splash screens since 2.03 (there's a gap between 2.04 and 2.26 - does anyone have those online?). This does bring back some feelings of nostalgia, so think twice before you follow the link ;-)

I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.

Some nice pictures here !
I know Blender since 2.42 so i didn't know most of them.
My favorite is 2.34 !
Nice. I sometimes told myself that I started at 2.23, but I don't recognize the splashes before 2.32 so I must be dyslexic. 2.34 was also my favourite splash and probably my favourite version along with 2.33a. A lot happened to the game engine in those days. :D
Wow! That is my blog! Where did you found the link?
Sorry my bab English, I'm from Brazil!
Cool, my favorite is 2.35. I like 2.34 too because it was the first thing of blender I ever saw.
Brings back some fun memories.
i started at 2.26.....ah, those were the days...
@Otávio: I know everything! MUHAHA!
actually, WordPress keeps track of incoming links and I use Google Alerts
i started at 2.42...
"Otávio: I know everything! MUHAHA!" hehe!!!
Lol, now I can date my blendering... I got on the bandwagon at 2.40...
Have known and loved them all! I even used Blender before it was freed from NaN and just before the 2.'s.
Jeez, I feel like a fossil... First time I've met blender around 1.69... Haven't done much with it, but i'm monitoring the progress very closely.

Nice collection.
2.34 is my favourite!
It's amazing how quickly the dev team adds new features. It just goes to show how active and development-oriented this project is. I started at 2.33a so that jellyfish splash will always have a special place in my heart. Thanks for the archive, Otávio!
yay, those are great!
my top 3:
2.35
2.43
and
2.37
although, I can't say, which one's first and which one's third^^
also nice is/was
2.42 simple but quite real
and 2.34 VERY abstract :D
The blenderbuilds-splash-screens are missing, tough... :)
Thank you @rem!
My favorit is 2.33a!
I wonder if any of the artists would release the blend files or higher resolution versions for commemoration.
2.36 was the first time I turned on blender :)
I'm sure I have 2.03 till 2.25. there are just a bunch of images of ton and ian.
I also just got a box of cd's from NeoGeo that Alatis took over. Talking about taking a trip over memory lane.

Cool. Looks like I came in at 2.41
Being able to check out this many at once, I think my favorite is the 2.40Alpha2. I always thought those typwriter bugs from Naked Lunch were pretty cool.
I first came to blender at version 2.14 but I didn't think to update until version 2.31 had already come out and blender had been open sourced! My utimate fav. splash has to be the prerelease of 2.40 but it didn't last long enough before they brought out 2.40 in full - waaa... :'( - having said that, the jellyfish one is also one of my top three - after the drop of liquid that is! Yep, and I just checked with the official release notes - that drop of fluid was done the release before the fluid simulator had even made it as far as blender - I wonder if that's what gave nils the inspiration?
Actually, just flicking through the past release notes is quite nostalgic!
~epat! :D
These are some of missing splashs.

I will put this imagens in my blog!
I forgot: sorry my bad English...
The carrot was my friend (2.36), though I did have a copy of 2.35 (I don't recall where I've stuck it now)
Have to say, if you step up with each release, you don't release just how much your workflow (and the interface) has improved until you go back a version or several (After 2.43 was released, I went and tried 2.36 again briefly - Not an exercise I want to try again, for sanity reasons)
Favourite Splash? Blender 2.43... I was just wowed when I first saw Starry Nights by Mathias Pedersen. Can't wait for the 2.45 splash to be chosen, though.
lol thats great! hehe. I started at 2.36 :)
I REMEMBER UNTIL 2.37 WOOHOO!
I started with v2.42. I was thinking that the splash screen will never change in the coming versions, maybe because there is the idea of the oranges waiting to be mixed and squeezed inside the blender. I was wrong though.
But it is my favorite anyway. It reminds me of how and when I found Blender.
I first found and downloaded Blender at 2.37 but didn't actually try doing anything with it until 2.43 (it looked so scary). I'd say my favorite splash is 2.40/2.41.
My First sight on blender was the carrot of 2.36 xP
I never saw the oldest splash screens but the Blender Creator... dont remember the version....
nice to all of these splash screens together xP
nice to see all these..........*********
This is a pretty cool collection, thanks for the pictures guys!
Those oranges from 2.42 are so special to me.... *winks* (Yes, I did start Blender
in 2.42).
I'm a 2.24 junkie. Go blender. I'll support you to the end.
I remember when I downloaded 2.23 for the first time. I was SO excited when 2.27 came out and it had.... semi transparent faces in the 3d window!!!! lol. I think I have downloaded every major version from 2.23 on at one point or another. I actually love the 2.26 splash. I like not having the white bar on top, but to each his own.
My favourite splash screens are blender 2.34 and 2.35. I have only had blender since blender 2.46 but have gone back to try every single one of them plus 1.3. Keep up the good work Blender Foundation!
