lineDstudioA new resource for artists that use Blender to create architectural visualization is available, with downloads of furniture models, tutorials and scripts. All this is provided by a site called LineDstudio.

"In this Agreement Content means all the collections files (*.blend file) for Interior and Architectural design and any derivate work." Meaning we can use it in animation too?

  3. Thank you LineD !
LowRes trees are always good to have.

Also, for chairs and such of top designers you can also look here:
    http://www.fritzhansen.com/
go to architects->cad drawings, you can dl the Egg chair and such, then you can use the materials in lineD's archives.

  5. This is beyond just good... this is fantastic!

Even just the scenes are teaching me a lot.

They are not asking much for the models, so clearly if we use them for projects, we really should send him the twelve dollars he is asking in the registration form. Clearly a small price to pay.

This will let me place some objects in a scene and concentrate on animation, which is great.

In terms of a demo-reel of personal stuff... I'm trying to figure out how to attribute the objects back to the source... I guess that's what credits are for maybe.

  6. Well, I am not one to use pre-made models of furniture since I make and sell original furniture.
I would like to signal this great resource as it offers truly free models for use in archiviz: http://blender-archi.tuxfamily.org/Models
There you can not only profit of the generosity of others but you can also share your work which is even better.

At LineDstudio the LearningZone is in itself enough to justify the price of registering. Have a look: http://www.linedstudio.com/tutorials.html
