Using a Blender python script called m3g_export, you can export Blender scenes in an M3G file format or java class for use with java mobile phones.
This is compatible with j2me and JSR 184: Mobile 3D Graphics API for J2ME
You need Blender 2.44 and Python 2.5.x
Download the python plugin from here. (right-click SaveAs)

Very cool!
I suppose this can be used on Javascript on homepages too?
Java and javascript are totally unrelated.
This is probably totally useless for web pages, sorry.
Very cool!
I wonder if my Sony Ericsson K790 can work with this?
Interesting, although I wouldn't be able to run it. But speaking of mobile devices, what happened to PocketBlender? Did it die? The latest version I see is 2.42.
Awesome! I've already run a couple of 3D apps on my phone. I trust this will work. I can't wait to try it out! Good to see it support textures too.
I moved it to /usr/lib/blender/scripts/ but I can't get it in the export list in blender.
Is there anyone who know why it happends?
the features for blender just get better and better
This works with all phones who has JSR-184 API.
that is a really good job.
by the way. Somebody knows anything about blender/Open gl ES? the last release of python for s60 mobile phones has a opengl ES API but I am struggelling to export blender data into my ps60 scripts.
Python s60 is sooooo much more convenient than Java in my opinion.

Somewhat recent update on his site. Development doesn't appear active, but he is still supporting in the forums. You'd have to ask Russo the latest.

Hi,
I built a very simple 3D character using Blender .
I want to write a J2ME code to export it to the Sun Emulator for mobile phones.
Just turn commands using the arrow keys.
Could you please advise me on how to get started?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You,
David
Do you need a special app to run this on your phone? i have a samsung s5233a and it says unsupported file type.
