Nice!
Well, I'd like to have my signed copy too... :)
Green tea shake with ice cream, sweet beans and chocolate... (what was the blog about already? hehehe kidding)
did you tell him to hurry with the next book??
I hope you like Japan. Been here 7 years and still goin strong... sigh
So Tony is in Japan teaching Blender, That's cool. Just hurry up with the book :D I am sure we are all looking forward to it.
Funny, at first glance I thought the article said that Tony Mullen has a job teaching blender to a freshman class at an all girl's Japanese college.
I'm hurrying, I'm hurrying!
Actually, I have to say, so far the new book is going great. I'm very excited about it. Organizing the graphics and thinking "these are all going to be printed in full color!" is really nice...
Sheesh I just got the first one and am working my way through it, and you got a second one on the way I am insanely interested in...
No fair, I aint got that much time free;)
Seablade
That's how I feel, Thomas. Just got the first one (ICAWB) and I'm blogging about it. I'm nowhere near ready for another one (yet). I'd say, "take your time, Tony" but I would get mobbed by the others if I did.
Don't worry, it does take time. People should have plenty of time to digest ICAWB before this new one comes out. Some of it will depend on how soon the major changes for 2.5 take shape, since I want the book to be up to date for that release. I'm starting now with the areas that won't change too much over the next few months. I think that if all goes well you can expect to see the new book making an appearance sometime around February 2008.
Whoa, I never expected to get publicity from my little blog entry on meeting Tony. Thanks everyone!
I'm back from Japan now. 1 month was at the same time not enough, and too much. Now I gotta prepare for my upcoming blender mini class.
thanks again Tony!
