Bob Holcomb is holding another compositing contest on blenderartists.org called "WHAT WAS THAT!?!?!" Prizes for this challenge include Ron Brinkman's The Art and Science of Digital Composition for first place and the Blender Fluids Training DVD from CmiVFX for second place. This challenge involves using supplied video footage, so be sure to check out the discussion thread on blenderartists.org for complete rules and how to get the video file.
The contest deadline is 1 August 2007. Good luck everyone!
Neat! I will have to go investigate.
What is going on. I have no idea how to add my character into the video. Lol. I know how to blur everything but to make it appear like my character is walking there. How do I actually add my character into the video?
i know this is out of topic, but do blendernation posters have any information on blender 2.5 new (proposed? developed?) user interface?
Gnarly, now that I am out of school. I finally have time to do this stuff!
Is there any good tutorial for compositing with blender?
Is it just me or the second prize is better then the first, ;)
AniCator: try motion matching. Google for "Voodoo" and MM = your friend!
Try this http://www.blendedplanet.com/?Tutorials:Color_Difference_Keying_in_Blender_3D
Also, search this site for "keying"
I agree with Gat..
I think the second prize should be the first and vice versa..
I borrowed the book from the library tonight and it is a 360 page book crammed with great info.
This might help some people
