I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.

  1. probably not, but i'll post some news on my blog...and i'll hunt down the people who took pictures during. can also write something to post here at blendernation if people are interested.

by the way, the first session just finished. and the room was - although kinda small - reeeally full. so there's definitely a lot of interest in blender here.

now the ED talk starts soon! getting ready...

  2. thanks bart!
the one about Elephants Dream is done as well now. it went very smoothly, but there were actually far less people... i'll mainly blame the huge blockbuster talks which were running at that time, ILM and a Q&A with Roland Emmerich (both insanely crowded)... but i'm really satisfied nonetheless :)

now time for the closing party!
    greetings,
