Update: I just received word that the e-Shop is back in business.
The Blender.org e-Shop is still running on the 'old' server which used to host the www.blender.org website: the XServe. After moving the shop to a new server the admin team found out that it was experiencing technical difficulties. Because of that, the shop has been shut down as of last Sunday. In fact, the entire blender3d.org domain has been deactivated, so some rewrites (like mediawiki.blender3d.org) have also ceased to work. Use the blender.org links instead - they'll still work.
The team is working on a solution and we expect the shop to be back any day now.

Good luck with that.
Ofcourse the shop was up for a redesign (programming & gfx) long ago, but I hope for you guys it was not still running on .ws scripts.
I do wonder why when I offered my help it was rejected...
Matt mailing me that "all is already done" months ago seems to go a little thin.
Joeri, I'm not involved with the shop upgrade/redesign (I had my share six years ago when I set up the current shop ;-), so I can't answer this for you.
Talking about the shop... Any ideas when the new Blender book will be ready?
yea, good point. When, when!
That was fast. Good work guys. ( Who Timothy and Marco? ).
The adress contains php, so I guess it's no ws...
Maybe it was just changing
Okay,...
changing «? into «?php
Joeri,
I think Matt had most of the redesign work done quite a few months ago, but was waiting on the planned hardware upgrades and migration to go live with them.

I finally got my stickers. They were posted to my house instead of here. I think it's strange that the last two things I've gotten from the e-shop wont send to my "new address" though I have no problem with it going to my mom n' dad's place. The web doods should add an address-managing book thing while they're at it. :)
Hi tom,
That's what I understand.
But I've could have done the shop, or advice on things like relinking the "Getting started" button, create some custom icons, or create a game demo area. Setting up a "teachers" part. Organize a ... you get the idea.
Every conference there are complaints that they can't find people to do stuff, but if I write a mail that I want to help I get: "No thanks, it's all done and in perfect order."
Delegating does not seem to be their strongest point.

Joeri,
I'm sorta in charge of organizing the web content team now - although I'm a bit behind :)
I'm going through and finding what needs updating and ownership now - so if you are interested in volunteering for working on the site - I'd love the help :) Join bf-webcontent mailing list and introduce yourself.
