The History of 3D Rendering
If you ever wanted to know where it all began then this article is a good place to start. And to think it all started in the 1960s.
CGSociety has published an interesting article regarding the development of 3D rendering technology and the advances it has made over the years. Its an interesting read. And its amazing to see how far the technology has advanced us in only 30-40 years.
This article has been around for ages, i’ve read it over three years ago.
Still nice to see. What will the future bring us in the filed of rendering? Real-time photon-rendering?

Umm… duh! Everyone knows that 3D graphics all started with the release of Wolfenstein 3D!!! actually though, wolf3d used ray-casting, making it more pseudo-3d than anything…
