Hey,
in a few days I'll start as teacher a Blender introduction course in Barcelona. This course costs € 60,- and covers 15 hours of class. The course develops in the LabMedia of Universitat de Barcelona, an equipment for art students who work in the new media. Classes are in catalan language.
If you are interested, you can visit our website. Programming of the course covers Blender genericly (from creating meshes to even an introduction to photoreallistic simulation) and the 3D basis, so if you are a minimal experienced user, this course is not for you.
This course is for you if you want to learn Blender possibilities and some 3D basis.

Why there never is a Viennese Blender School? Everywhere, even in a couple of city's in Austria, but not in Vienna -.-
Anyway: Happy Teaching!
(And to your students: Happy Blending!)

ORg 1/H12, 1010 Wien, Hegelgasse 12
In Hegelgasse there are two schools next to each other. One is gray with Housenumber 14 and the otherone is yellow with housenumber 12...
I just had a blenderclass ~5m away from my normal class xD
I can't believe it! Thank you!!!!!!
Sorry for tribbleposting...
uhm... this article says, that it's for teachers...
" Ziel des Kurses ist es, KollegInnen das Grundhandwerkszeug für die Gestaltung von 3D-Inhalten mitzugeben und mit Hilfe von Blender einfache 3D-Aufgaben zu lösen, vor allem in Hinblick auf den schulischen Einsatz in Bildnerischer Erziehung und Werkerziehung. "
... do you think, that I can go there as student?
thanks Kram for comments :-)
Today i'd go to Labmedia, where will take place the workshop, and I know that i have now 9 students!!!
I'm very happy, in the one hand for blender but in the other (the right hand, I have to say) for the more money I will earn...
One day past I was assuming that I will teach this course almost for "loving of art" or as an "art lover", (amor a l'art in catalan) but this changes drastically the economic panorama. Catalans are known as a very "money lovers" persons ;-).
Is too late and i don't know exactly what I'm saying, simply i want to say that I'm very happy thanks to blender, his developpers, users, etc...
:-) :-)

@Höhrer: great, thanks! We'll be sure to post about that workshop as well.
@Kram1032: I don't know, I think you should contact the persons listed on the page about this.
@Bart: Good idea. But be sure to mention that it seems to be for teachers only (until we have further info). Just FYI ... I'm in no way involved with this workshop :) just found it when searching for such a thing.

hey..
emm. me too, yeah! Congratulations for Mr. Raimon guarro. We always thought that you was very good!! Be nice and happy... and always ku in the heart!! Your lover
Now, I'm sure about it :(
Teachers only.
My Art-teacher told me today. She likes blender but, I don't know, why, she doesn't want to learn it...
I think it's a good idea to post it here through...
Maybe it's the first "Blender Teacher School" which is interesting, 'cause the two schools are just next to another 'cause of they've been one male teacher school and one female teacher school...
Since a few years, both are general bi-gender schools for students...
btw. (sorry for double posting... I should think about what I want to write instead of post and post again ...)
The german text I've quoted, means about:
"Target of this course is that Colleagues are learning the Basics of Modeling in 3Dspace and to solve simple 3Dexercises, especially for usage in school in the subjects "Arts" and "manufactures"
I hope, the subjects are right, I'm not sure, especially with manufactures...
Please correct me, if I'm wrong.

@False Ton: I think this would've made a nice follow-up to the april fools day news some time ago :)
