Do you live in the Boston area? The Grey Thumb group is looking for someone to give them a Blender demonstration. Read on.

Grey Thumb (www.greythumb.org) is a group of scientists, engineers, hackers, artists, and hobbyists in the Boston metro area with a strong interest in artificial life, artificial intelligence, biology, computer science, and all sorts of other related topics.
We're looking for people who have done interesting things with Blender, or just interesting things, who would like to share them with us. We'd also love it if someone could describe and demonstrate Blender at one of our meetings. If you're in the Boston area, or will be visiting in the coming months, and would like to give a talk, please contact martin [@] martincmartin.com
If you care to accept their invitation, be sure to let us know when your demonstration is!
PS: It's a pity they didn't invite us in august when we were all at Siggraph in Boston :)

If I had known about this last month, I could have planned something for them this week since I'm in Boston now. I may be able to do something during my next visit at the end of March.
Cheers,
Bob
It may be to late...
Such things should be postet a bit earlier, I think. ;)
@Kram1032: too late? What do you mean? This is an open invitation..
I'm not in the Boston area at all. Also I'm only going to the Blender Conference.
The weather really sucks today here in Holland.
I almost got blown away by the wind.
Really I mean it. I got dragged from the cycle path onto the ordinary road.
I think the wind was 63 km/u.
Oh, sorry.... I don't know, what I read wrong....
Something got me to believe, that it is only a short Time to do this^^
Ignore my first post (or delete it ;))
(OT) @AniCator: Oh, yes, the Storm -.-
catastrophe-warnings in Austria...
It will come to us @ night. (/OT)
Bart (or someone from greythumb), would it be okay for others to attend this demonstration once it is organized? If so, more details please. :)
Oh, and I'm stuck in NC, so I wouldn't be able to make it up there in the first place... But this makes me think about doing something quite the reverse. I know a lot about Blender. I wonder if I could convince my school (UNC Asheville) to allow me to demonstrate Blender as some sort of promotional thing. I wonder how one could market ones self to that inversed situation...
If they pay my ticket from the Netherlands... ;-)
@Bart: Is there only 1 post today? Your goal is to do 2 posts a day?
How is this news?
well im in new york right now...i go to boston alot and often....when will the demonstration be....is there an age limit???cuz i am kinda young....but if the timing is right im sure i can do it...:)
