Groo has been busy - not only did he finish his Advanced Fluids DVD, but he also updated the Blender.org gallery again. Go on and enjoy the best of December's Blender art!
My favorite this month is Bassam Kurdali's 'Tube', which at the same time is one of the ghastliest Blender images I've ever seen. I know he has been working on this one for a LONG time and the result is an amazingly rich image that just begs me to watch it and discover more details or meaning.

There are some images I would like have in the gallery instead
I think I like tube the most, a lot of detail.
for me the "vertical limit" and "zen".
For me "Tube" it's a great concept, very detailed, and it's my nature;)
These Pics are nice, but I find those from last update better trough.
Zen is my favorite, I think...

I dont think I agree with you,Kram1032, I think these are somewhat better than last month's.
Those are some very fine pictures.But then again, The last update was excellent too.
I remember "Tube" from Bassam's website and he had a version of it with EXTREME detail. Of course, then it would
be 5x larger! I still love the organic skill that Bassam has shone in it!
Tube is done very well, but it's not my taste...
I prefer more peaceful pics, like zen....
Last time, there have been more pics, like I like them.
This doesn't mean, that I don't like those from this update. They are very good as well.
