eggs_s.jpgGroo just published the November update of the Blender.org gallery. Again, there's lots of cool artwork and I noticed that more Indigo renders are starting to appear.

I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.

  1. Yeah, indigo is really nice if you want realistic renderings without too many obscure settings. I really hope for a native linux port, wine isn't at all the optimal solution.

  2. I become mad when I see the great pictures rendered with Indigo... I haven't been able to render at least one good image with it ! Rendering a scene in Black and White using few materials seems not too difficult, but rendering a complex scene with many different materials, which has been made first to be rendered with Blender internal renderer is a headhache... at least for me !

  3. Yes, it is December. The December gallery won't be published until after the end of the month (after all of the submissions made in December come in). Hopefully, though, I can make the update closer to the beginning of the month. :)
