Blender Introductory Tutorial, Goiania, Brazil

1

fsgl.jpgVirgilio Vasconcelos, who was nominated for "Best Character Animation" on this Blender Conference, is going to give an introduction to Blender in Goiania, Brazil on October 28th. He writes:

Well... this is another event in Brazil involving our beloved Blender.

28 of October I´ll be giving a short course, an introduction to Blender in a local Free Software event. This event will be in Goiania and is called "III Forum Goiano de Software Livre", the link to the website is http://fgsl.aslgo.org.br/

I´ve translated the introductory tutorial ("Your first animation in 30 + 30 minutes") of Blender´s wiki Manual to portuguese and I´ll use it in the short course. I´ll post the translation in the wiki, obviously... =D

I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.
