Blender comes bundled with a collection of useful Python scripts such as import and export scripts and object modifiers. If you have created a script that you would like to see included in the main Blender distribution, then read on.
LetterRip writes on BlenderArtists.org:
We have testing builds scheduled for early May, therefore we would like to have scripts that are proposed for inclusion in 2.42 submitted by the 3rd week of April to allow us time to review. Also for those scripts that are submitted, please put them in the patch tracker. (If you've submitted before and you haven't got a response back please do place it in the patch tracker as well and we apologize) This way we don't accidently lose them in our overflowing email boxes. The patch tracker is located here:
http://projects.blender.org/tracker/...=9&func=browse
Remember that the script should be licensed under the GPL, and that the script should have documentation on its usage if needed.

Opps, I mean 2.42.
when is 2.42 scheduled to be released? i hope the game engine doesn't get slower like it did in 2.41.
please make sure your scripts do work with python 2.3 too :)
thanks.
I hope this time the scripts will work properly. For example the 3DS script does not work in 2.41 but it does in 2.40
Oh, yeah! Just take more time testing before releasing, please!
