Sign of the Juggernaught

almost all of the final comp was put together in PS. blender was crashing on me almost nonstop at the end. if i tried to open certain layers or render objects parented to paths then i got one of those polite, but annoying ‘sorry blender unexpectedly…’ messages. i ended up having to seperate my work into 3 .blend files to have access to my pieces. kind of a drag, but it all turned out.

fun stuff: the robot at the time of render had over 980.000 verts. each tree, with use of awsome new particals, had about 50.000 verts apiece. i had a combined render time of 3.5 hours for all trees and robot passes.
