dave-ward-tutorialRemember Dave Ward's funny animations we posted last year? Well, Dave is now working on a rather large videotutorial on the development of a detailed character. So far, he has published eleven parts and is this only covers the modeling!

Dave wrote:

I've been working on a series of tutorials going over the complete creation of a detailed character from modeling to texturing to rigging, etc. So far, my Youtube series has gotten through about 90% of the modeling, and I expect to begin texturing within the next few parts.

David, did you know your website's domain name has expired? I just tried to go to http://www.hammerdave.com/index.html to see if you had other interesting works and got a Go Daddy page.

Dave, I am still watching the videos and really enjoying them. I am amazed at your since of anatomy. I took a break to look at some of the other videos on your site and especially like the Gorilla walk cycle. The banana is a little off on scale in the one picture as a gorillas fingers are about the diameter of a banana's diameter. Other than that they are great. Well, I will get back to watching the modeling videos.
