Loving is getting into this process of a) thinking about “how can I take care of people ?” which comprises also getting to know the needs of people around ; b) acting to fulfill those needs.
Indeed, for anyone to be helped in the process of loving (“being social”), it is good to be taught/discover what is good and bad behaviour as the videos do.
I agree that there are universal standards (although they vary slightly across cultures), but again I think that if those videos were about doing sustainable development/teaching they could have told about the very background of respect/good behaviour, which is “(trying) take care of self and others (and God if you like) applied in every action”.

Religions are not universal, but truth is universal and can be found when it is looked for thoroughly. Religions is a matter of people looking for truth and trying to live out of what they think truth is.
Out of the scope of religion, if ever we are actually able to find truth by common reflexion about what is the root of good behaviour, then the most simple and answer to we’d reach would be this love self and others (instead of several rules which are comprised in that latter).
Some people think that the existence of God is one part of truth. Because other people don’t think so, that former person is called a believer. Now why don’t we settled the case for good and discover if God actually exists ? (if we admit that truth can be found together).

I did say that being polite is a minimum, but instead of speaking of a “maximum”, I said that “the core of all those good tips are just love of God before all else and love of others as self”. By “core” I mean, the exact thing to do.
As to my bracket after “(= the first+second Jewish/Christian commandments ; other religions end up with the same root tips/conclusions).”, I put it to mean that it happens to correspond to principles found in religions.
Believe me, I don’t want to promote religions but truth, because promoting truth is taking care of others. Although, if I happen to see that one part of truth is systematically and willingly hidden by people, I will try to speak it out loud.
When real truth is kept in mind and practised, then true and effective peace appears and stays. If my saying of that “core” “love others as self and God before all else” -tip does not make peace, then it’s not true and should be said. Please give me feedback on that tip’s application effects in life of or people you know, if those are overall bad, remove all my comments.

Education is taking care of people, and to take care of people implies being a little truthful, and giving them true things to learn. One feature of education though is that it keeps people inside limits during the time they learn/grow, for their own safety.
Religion gives truth as education does. It may give some wrong parts of the truth, but non-religious education does it too.
As to that http://www.holylove.org website I posted it not because it was religious and because people should believe in the religion, but because it seems to be the truth and please give me feedback if you don’t think that its contents are the truth. The concept of “Holy Love” corresponds that core tip I gave, this is why I gave that website’s URL.
I don’t care about religions except for the fact they may help me find further and stick to/live out of the full truth.

All in all, let us look for the truth together and we will find it. I see very well in projects that working in teams gives better solutions to problems than alone. People don’t work (and don’t work together) to find and achieve the truth (and I am myself part of that non-work), then that’s maybe why we keep speaking about religions and believing in things today, while should all have found and seen clearly what the truth is in every aspect.

All in all, I did not mean to hurt anyone. And if I have shocked people, I apologize. However if overall what I am saying is the truth, then I’m like that real friend who tells the truth upfront so that things change. In France, we say that pretending to be a friend to someone and not saying to him/her what he/she is doing wrong, is not being a real friend. To wrap things up, those small clips about better behaviour were good, and I just pointed out one core tip that helps living what those clips teach and much much more.

It’s like in maths, you may very well learn by heart the the derivatives of functions y=x^1, y=x^2. But if you know the formula for derivating y=x^n, you’re much more efficient and your spirit is less filled by the way.
