@r3615
didn't know about the script, i'll check it out.
Our main problem with After Effects is with Z Compositing, anyway
We can't composite layer using their ZBuffer value.

@Bassam
this is exactly what i was looking for, thank you!
btw i think this should be ON by default

you can set ipo curve editing to dynamically affect the other views; it's a little icon you have to click on the header (I know it's a bit hidden) that looks like a lock.
anyway, minor thing.

@e.perinelli :
there is a python script to export blender camera motion to import into aftereffects.
with rendering selectively into layers, its working great to finish it in post using AE.

@Gryphon
yes, it's quite simple to set up. I'm happy it looks professional, since that's what i'm supposed to be :-D

in chronological order i've used throught the years:
Impulse's Imagine (from 2.0)
Alias Poweranimator (from 8.5)
Newtek's Lightwave
Alias|wavefront Maya (from 1.0)

I've done architectural, design visualization, TV and videogames

As i've already written, the only thing i find a bit confusing is with setting up the animations, i would like to be able to edit IPOs for more than one object at a time and have RT feedback of the modifications

Blender's modeler is very powerful, rendering is lightning fast, and now i'm taking a step forward with the use of OpenEXR format: the quality of the image is much better but i'm not able to do Z Compositing in After Effects yet (and this is really bad).

Maybe we should consider other compositing solutions (Shake? Combustion? no idea yet)
