timelapse11.jpgRecently we posted about Jonathan’s new DVD for sale. But we also want to point you out to some great timelapses available for viewing on his website. Find them here.

I personally really enjoyed watching the stylized head.

It’s Interesting to see the different way people model. I pick up alot of different methods from watching the way people approach the task.

The advantage is to be able to save the videos on our HD for viewing at a bigger size and with more control, eventually slower speed using a proper media player, (here SMPlayer under Kubuntu 7.10)

WOW! These are great to watch! I really wish I understood Blender’s GUI better … dang 3DS Max ruined my view of 3D programs! hahah -> But this gives me hope .. very nice.

Great videos – I think this is the first time I’ve seen a good tutorial on modeling something complex like a face while maintaining a reasonably clean topology.

The videos are nice and give some valuable lessons. But the REAL 3D modeling technique is box modeling and I have never seen a tutorial based on that concept of modeling… And I belive if someone is going to do that , it would be some one who has read the thread by toontje in blenderartists forum… An excellent tutorial and its a must read for any one who wants to do organic modeling… even though its takes time to learn modeling that way ,I personally believe thats the right way to model…
