I tried changing the width with the css parameter and passing it a different rss-box but I only managed to get it to change the border colour... I'm no web designer, and I haven't got time to sit and learn php and javascript before I can adjust the width - for now, I altered my blogger template to make the sidebar bigger but it might be useful for other people too if there was an easier option which didn't affect the layout of their blog... (well I suppose I could have used the online version of feed2js and put the script and css template into the blogger panel directly).
