Free Spanish Blender Ebook
An interesting primer on Open Source and Blender for Spanish readers. I can’t judge the quality of the contents, but it certainly looks like an extensive piece of work that could be useful to many people.
The “Centro de Excelencia de Software Libre of Castilla-La Mancha – CESLCAM” (Centre of Excellence for Free Software of Castilla-La Mancha) has released the content of the Spanish e-book “Fundamentos de SÃntesis de Imagen 3D. Un enfoque práctico a Blender, ISBN: 978-84-613-2782-9” (Foundations of 3D Image Synthesis. A Practical Approach to Blender) under the Creative Commons license, written by Carlos González Morcillo (Blender Foundation Certified Trainer) and David Vallejo Fernández, members of the Teaching and Research Staff of the University of Castilla-La Mancha.
This e-book introduces the fundamental concepts of Image Synthesis and Computer Animation and contains numerous examples and video tutorials by using Blender and other related free software tools. Tried in vain to get my hands on the CD with the Contents of the Course. The link on their side does NOT lead to an online store (in contrast to the instructions they give).
As I don´t want to download the whole HTML-structure with Scrapbook (with hours to go to clean in up into a usable off-line resource) I would be happy/thankful/glad to have anybody out there to explain to me how to get my hands on the CD.
I have a spanish contact to have it delivered in Spain if need be.
