I hate reactable... It's clunky, requires wicked time to calibrate, and it's a complete rip-off of sensetable. Drives me bananas that its gotten so much exposure, granted audiopad never made its development methods widely open to the public...

Regardless, if you're serious about developing a wacko board that has augmented multi-interacting tracked objects, then true RFID is the way to go. : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mm3HKf1FWx4 : That might just be me, but computer vision systems feel are really a waste of computing power.

The power-cloth is neat, but how can you wear it if there's a sign that says "Microwave! Do not touch!"

Hamunaptra, if I recall correctly, they use resonance to couple the charger and item together. It's not throwing out lots of radiation in all directions.

The "place object on table" device is pretty cool.
I've seen it some years back, you can check it out here:

http://reactable.iua.upf.edu/

Wireless battery recharging already has some designers going.
I saw some designs to put you mobile wireless on to recharge the battery. Very nice.
You can build a frequency harverster yourself if you want too lol.

Nice update, thanks.
