Ribmosaic Renderman exporter for Blender
Ribmosaic is another RenderMan exporter for Blender, but this time with a different approach. Mosaic was conceived to integrate all Blender structure with the RenderMan attributes.

It’s an exciting project with in my opinion a very sensible approach to linking Blender’s functionality with the Renderman specs.
I saw months ago something about it, but i’ll learn something more this time. It seems to be a great project!

Well, the potentially most interesting page “Using Mosaic” is corrupted and displays random letters…
@ROUBAL – The “Using Mosaic” page has not been written – is a Wiki page which has been created and temporarily filled in with nothing (not corrupted).
If you download mosaic (comes in *.zip and *.tar.gz) and extract it there are some renders in the “media” folder, as well as some Blender scenes (in “examples”).

Aah! Looks like I need coding knowledge just to make a render with this! Too overwhelming for me right now. Somebody write a good tutorial for it and I’ll give it a shot. Until then I’ll be focusing on other Blender aspects I still need to master.
Interesting though. The sample render looks great with the SSS and all.
