CGDerrick Sesson (cganim8or) has spent a lot of time making a bunch of 50+ tutorials on youtube lately.

Derrick writes:

I’ve been spending the last few months making blender tutorials of all topics and putting them on youtube.  I’ve made over 50 tutorials from modeling to using the node editor. I’m very open to suggestions, so if you have any questions about something in blender that you would like to see in a tutorial, just send me a message.

    Amen. I wouldn’t have been able to learn a lot in Blender hadn’t there been brave people making video tutorials. I learn best while doing, and looking around between 2 screens is way better than reading a book, then looking up, back to the black&white prints in use books, completely optically defocused, then go blind myself with the monitor again. Books are great when you learn without doing, for me video tuts hit the spot :) so THANKS!
