New Spanish Blender Book

merce-galan-th.jpgA new Blender book has been published in Spain. It's title is "Blender. Curso de Iniciación" (Blender, an introduction course)

The author, Mercè Galán writes:

It has 508 pages and it introduces us in the modeling, materials and texturing with and without nodes, the video edition, lighting, and the virtual walkthrough, with general concepts and practical examples, step-by-step, for new users in Blender. The book is in Spanish language and focused to artists and teachers.

    This is the first Blender book that I see in spanish and it appears to cover a great deal of topics, so I might give it a try. It would be nice to make a comparison with the Essential Blender book once it gets published (any news on this?)

    This is an awesome book. I have one copy and it's worth to buy your own!! There are several examples showing the new functionality (sculpt mode, material nodes, etc…). Congratulations Mercé and keep on the good work!!

    A todos los hispano-hablantes; un fantástico libro que merece la pena tener. Lo único que no me gusta es el diseño de la portada :-P. Megacat, buen trabajo. :-)

    Just a question. Did you refer to menu options? In spanish or you use english terms?

    Hola qué tal?
    Gracias a todos por los comentarios.
    La versión es la 2.43.
    Los términos están todos traducidos al castellano, pero entre paréntesis está el término en inglés, con el fin de facilitar la comprensión del término y también su búsqueda dentro de los paneles de Blender.

    Maléfico me hubiera encantado poder regalarte un libro con ocasión de tu visita a la Blendiberia, pero todavia no habia salido el libro, retrasos de las fiestas de Pascua.
