New Peach Team Videos

nov16.jpgThe Peach team have posted a bunch of videos on their blog: one of the 'weekly meeting' that they have every Friday and four of Sacha, Enrico, William and Nathan showing some of their work. All files are available from YouTube/Google Video or as .ogg files (use VLC to play). Great stuff, I really appreciate that this project is so much more open about their creation process than Elephants Dream!

So… Do you need any volunteers or not? Like they say – just whistle!

It looks like the atmosphere among the crew is great!

I think that the openness is great as well. The open movie projects are something that we should learn from. This is why the Peach blog is so important. We can be inspired by the team's successes as we follow their progress.

I also found out that Jan Morgenstern is coming back to do the Peach movie. I liked her music in Elephants' Dream, and I'm glad that she's coming back.

That's another thing I love about the Free community. It's members are real people. :)

I second DramaKing. Good stuff, Jan. Thank you.

..and is this going to be something short again, or are we talking about an Open 'Over the Hedge' rival here?
I would be willing to take a movie one chapter at a time if it meant the latter.

I would also be willing to donate processing power for the rendering. I'm not sure, but I don't think I'm the only one who could honestly say that… 2.7 out of 2.8 GHz on an Ubuntu x86 machine, at your service.
