New German Blender Magazine: ‘Blenderzin’
Good news for the German Blender community – a new PDF Magazine has been released! The first issue is 15 pages long and my first impression is that it’s a well produced piece of work. Check out their website, or download the first edition (1.8MB PDF).

Great work. I find it a really good idea.
AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! O_O
This sounds excellent. Too bad I don’t have a better understanding of German. It looks well written with interesting and informative articles. I am especially interested in the in the news section, which has screens from Blender’s Game Engine.
Thats great news!
Looks great but i can’t read german :)
achtung babe :P
That is fantastic. Wish I spoke german, but since I don’t I wish them all good luck with their publication.
Hey, now thats cool!!
Geil!!!!!!!:D I understand german quite a bit , so this is just awesome news!!!!!! Danke , “Blenderzin” Team!!!!!!!!
If my english were not such bad, then I would sure translate it to english:D but sadly,…
One thing that interested was the picture of a new logic system so I translated the text with Babel Fish and edited it a bit (added new lines, spaces, etc…):
The goals of this project are:
– Better & faster Rendering Support of new hardware features (software & hardware support)
– Extension of the transparency of “Erweitertes Culling system”;
Information (which behind the camera is not berrechnet) did not need selection of no more
– mp3, ogg etc. than possible sound integration
– Different kinds of shade: Volumetric, soft, Projizierterschatten
– 2D filters, Bloom, HDR, DOF and other ones
– Implentierung of further Script spoke
– New Logic system
The following LIBRARIES are used:
– Opengl for the Rendering
– Glew for the support of the hardware for the diagram
– OpenAL for the sound support
– Bullet as physics
How far is it now?
– Das sound system is implantiert and functions
– Logics system is in the WIP status
– True Bone system Bone actuator is inserted
– Das Culling system is to have progressed already quite (scenes with hundred-from one hundred of triangles to be able with an acceptable FPS to be represented)
– 15 times more achievement of the Blender GE
The Linux Build gives it HERE: http://kaiowa.incubadora.fapesp.br/portal/down/blender_mod/blender2.45_2D_AND_SPEED.tar.bz2
They need a spellchecker…
the logo with blender usual one but witn a camera lens i great! i think that it could be the new official blender logo; what do you think about it?

The (new) logic screen is HOT! Wish we get a fresh new Blender GE! Can’t wait…
Honestly I don’t really like the designs :/
@cent
The goals of this project are:
– better & faster rendering
– support of new hardware features (software & hardware support)
– extension of transparency
– “extended culling system”: selection of iformation that has become unnecessary (no calculation of everything behind the camera)
– mp3, ogg etc. as possible sound integration
– various kinds of shade: volumetric, soft, projected shadow
– 2D filters, bloom, HDR, DOF among other things
– implementation of other scripting languages
– new logic system
The following libraries are used:
– OpenGL for rendering
– Glew for graphic support of the hardware (note: that part sounds even more strange in the German pdf; I guess it was translated from another language as well :))
– OpenAL for sound support
– Bullet as physics engine
How much has been finished?
– the sound system has been integrated and is working
– logics system is in WIP status
– true bone system bone actuator is being built in.
– supposedly the culling system is already quite advanced (scenes with several hundred thousands of triangles can be displayed with an acceptable FPS rate)
– 15 times more faster (/ more performance) than (Note: here the German part also doesn’tmake sense, so I guess this is what the author tried to say) the Blender game engine
The Linux build can be found here:
