Unlocking Blender resources
This software was developed by Goatman, first as its own app, later did importer/exporter for blender, and finally integrated with blender. The basic concept is animate by puppeteering, and doing it in layers. This video link shows the process:

The Virtual Museum offers more than 70 models of old computers. The models can be freely downloaded from this web page. They have been created using the 3D modeling and animation Blender suite and exported to an interchange format to be represented with OpenGL. Because of the interactive use of the models, they are made using a low number of polygons. The textures, applied with UV Mapping, are packed in the .blend file.
