BlenRig 3.0 is a Free Character Rig/Rigging System for Blender 2.49 created by Juan Pablo Bouza. The system features a fully functional Muscle Simulation System based on the Shrinkwrap modifier.
BlenRig 3.0 is still under development, so you can expect further releases until 3.0 FINAL comes out.

BlenRig 2.0 features Zepam, a fully rigged human character for Blender 2.46. BlenRig 2.0 is a rigging system created by Juan Pablo Bouza, and it is completely based on Harmonic Coordinates Deformation.
This rig has a lot of features, such as IK/FK switches, Bone Stretching, Lattice Muscle Bulging, BlenRig’s Double IK Spine and the Armature Baker script (which allows you to easily transfer the rig to other characters).
