Unlocking Blender resources
Everyone likes free stuff, but as artists free stuff can be a real life saver. With this round of free stuff, we are giving away a free runner sled! It is the season to start hitting the slopes, and prepare those wintry renders. This model comes with a 2048×2048 tga texture for the wood and text.

The model is fully unwrapped and ready for sculpting, texturing, etc.
This is a character named, Magz and this download contains the complete ‘Samtang Bilog ang Bulan ( While it is Full Moon)’ set. Magz has a UV map texture, basic rig ( that needs some fixing ) and shape keys. He also has some predefined actions ( very crude ) that reveal my first struggle at animation.
The set is composed of a flat stage, a flat matte background and three palm trees courtesy of Blender for Architecture. Samtang Bilog ang Bulan is a very short animation project available at youtube. The zip file is rather big (24.6 mb )
Doming is a low-poly model made by Marwin Portugal. I modified it to suit the concept design for an open movie project dubbed as the Papaya Project. It doesn’t have materials and textures yet. Users are invited to apply the remaining components for this character and submit it as character for the upcoming papaya project.
Matangdilis’ second character model, Pagong. The mesh, rig, and textures are licensed under under Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 3.0 Unported License (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/).

The maya model ( a Philippine bird ) is based on Jared Reisweber’s ( http://www.hartworks.net/blender/jared/ ) tutorial and Matangdilis has succeeded in localizing that complicated rig system described in the tutorial.
Matangdilis is currently working on a short film project he calls Proyektong Halo-Halo ( Halo-Halo Project ). The film seeks to animate Jose Rizal’s story about the monkey and the turtle and the maya model is one of the characters for the project.
Ike is cartoony, human model. It is my first attempt to create a human model using a character’s photo as guide. The rig is so basic and used to simply create a single pose. The user need to heavily edit the rigs. The mesh needs some editing, too.
This model is one of my earliest experiment on character modeling. It is a low-poly character with simple procedural textures and simple rigs. The rigging is so basic and its elongated eyes are not yet adjusted to deform according to its facial contour. Users need to modify the constraints first to fix the eye deformation.
