Unlocking Blender resources
This tutorial is all about interior lighting workflow, where and which lamps to place, choosing colors, balancing etc. I will also try to show how to use composite nodes to get the desired effect (simply because You cant get it otherwise…). I’m going to show you the basic workflow of preparing a day time lighting in Blender Internal and, as a bonus, same in Yafaray.
In this article, we’ll see how to create an image render not with the use of external renderers but with Blender’s native internal renderer. We’ll look at how powerful the internal renderer is and how we can achieve similar results with that of dedicated renderers from tweaking light settings until the final compositing.
A good lighting setup is essential to effectively displaying your model. Without it your hard work might as well be for nothing. This tutorial takes a look at how to make a good three-point (+) lighting setup in Blender. The tutorial covers the different kinds of lights within Blender, the different configurations needed, and some general tips and tricks to creating a good setup within Blender
In this Blender tutorial, we’ll take a look at how simple it is to drastically effect the look and feel of your renders by applying textures to lighting. Applying a texture to a light is generally the same as applying a texture to an object. The only difference is that we’ll be projecting the texture into the scene based on the light settings.
