I am a FCP (Final Cut Pro) developer that uses Final cut studio and open source. I have been researching on how to change the sequence editor in blender and make the timeline look more like FCP. I have created a plugin that allows me to send data from FCP & motion into blender and working on Blender. Is there anyone out there that could help me on the blender side pls

@Johnj; you can use Gimp in Blender. If you run a verse server http://www.uni-verse.org/ along with a verse enabled build of Blender http://www.graphicall.org/builds/builds/showbuild.php?action=show&id=782and the verse plugin for gimp http://users.telenet.be/blendix/verse/old/demo.html Start the server. Connect to it in gimp. Connect to it through Blender. Start a new tecture in gimp. Find it under the verse section in you outliner. Load it. Then load it into you UV editor and paint away. It takes some stumbling around but it's not to bad. Maybe I should make a tutorial on my website. Here's a discussion about it: http://blenderartists.org/forum/showthread.php?t=90859

The pledgie link has accidentally incorporated the full stop into it's address. That needs to be removed for the link to work.
