Edgeloops are one of those things in modeling that thoroughly confound many new modelers and even some more experienced artists. Essential to animation, edgeloops also help keep a mesh clean and manageable. This class will take a look into the methodology of creating edgeloops, where and when to use them, and most importantly, why they are so important. We will be looking at examples of edgeloops within the human form, mechanical surfaces, and more. Don’t miss out!
The class fee is $20 per seat. Those who attend the class will be able to watch the recorded version after the class for free. If you don’t sign up but want to watch the recorded version only, you can purchase the video afterwards.
How long is the class? I don’t know if I will have time to attend it because I have a lot of school work to do, but will download the video afterwards. I like your CGCookie tutorials – they are nice and bite sized (pun intended) but obviously you can’t do a proper edgeloop class that short.

The class will be last between 2 and 3 hours. Generally the first two hours are used for teaching and the last hour is used for questions and answers, more demos, etc.

Williamson’s classes are worth it! I’ve sat through three of his sessions and every one of them was filled with useful tricks, tips, and techniques.
