@ speludner

Where would I post at BlenderArtists to achieve perhaps a better response?? I would think someone would have seen either of these posts I made here here. I would be interested in your thoughts however.

@WT: I like your passion about Blender -> Flash and I
like your suggestions. I too would like to see more/better Flash
support. I don't think Blendernation is really the right forum tho -
have you tried BlenderArtists?

Shame the examples need a flash compiler :/
Why didn't they included a swf where you can load in a 3D model...

I actually wrote about Papervision + Blender + Flash 3D etc... back in March in the Summer of Code post (see the following links):

Unfortunatly there was no response to my thoughts or the info I provided :-( Not even a peep! But if you read my post you will find more links and info concerning Blender and Flash and Flash and 3D. I still wish my thoughts would be given consideration as I feel they are strong and valid and that Blender would benefit largely. I think its a worth while consideration at this point.

Even Adobe mentions and uses Blender on there site in this tutorial for Flash and Papervision:

Oh well 8 months later here we are ;-) Thanks for the article heads up ;-)

Papervision3D (blog.papervision3d.org) is a great open source library. It natively loads collada files that can be generated from blender. It is not like SFblender in that it uses the real 3D data and the objects can be manipulated through Actionscript. Its a great project! I've used it along with blender at work to develop some training applications. This is an example of a test I did with it. (www.pablosbrain.com/flash/flash3d/bh/) And version 2 of their library is coming out soon as well with a lot more functionality and speed improvements!

Havn't looked at it yet, but I'm guessing it uses SFlender.

Sounds quite interesting, but I'll master Blender first.

Looks as though it needs more development IMHO.
