I’m a PC… I tried linux* for ONE day… and whats the conclution? It was a love to surf internet, see movies, hear music, automatic updates, no virus, no more invaders on ur pc while online…

but wait… I CANT download apps and double clic–> install wizard? that imperceptible detail that make life easier are the reason I go back Windows XP the next day…

(P.S.: sorry but I still no found a distro “that makes all windows do” with all those little BIG features so transparents to the user and to the coders too apparently…)

remember I’m a PC and I have almost all the market; so everybody expects something iqual or better than what I can do… all the apps I run and all the HW I support… U FORGET SO EASY… even MAC can’t do what I do (just with a VM)

thats a misconception, people are still watching tv (mabey not you, but people less computer oriented), you can tell by how “out of the loop” most people are about internet fads… tell me the last 60 second commercial you saw on the internet….

so I had a great idea for a commercial (absolutely brilliant), but then something occured to me… if the linux foundation isn’t spending money on a commercial… how is it going to actually be on tv…? then I thought, how much energy should I put into a commercial that might just be on the internet for no one to see…

Linux is just like a mis understood snake. Sure it takes more knowledge to use and is intimidating to those who don’t understand, but in reality it is free, easy to use, offers more customization and has many different distros to meet your needs. If your reading this you most likely use Blender which is open-source. Guess what… SO IS LINUX!!! I don’t see why you would want to use Linux, honestly if you don’t use Linux tell me WHY!

You might want to look into that a bit further. M$ has not been known for innovation as much as buying up existing technology.

Linux is open source. I wonder if there is any Linux code in Windows…

I’m sure there is Linux code in OS X, judging by where they got THEIR kernel from. And, I bet Compiz would have saved Microsoft a lot of time in getting the 3D effects right. So, maybe…
