The Journey Begins
Here's the result of a couple of days and nights, it's based off of Aaron Becker's painting in his book "Journey". I was inspired by the magical world of the book, and decided to recreate one of the scenes in 3d.It turned out to be quite a heavy scene - final render of about 9 hours on cycles cpu i7 3.5 ghz.

Thanks everyone, do remember that the composition and story(unfortunately) isn't mine, I just interpreted it in 3d. I had a lot of fun and hopefully learned a lot.
